Fun

It was fun, but I couldn't beat level 4 so I just gave up.

I just really, really, really enjoyed the music. where is it from?

Hi5er responds:

lol yeah level 4 is the hardest, im quite annoyed the boss is eaier than it :l

The music is from 'Klungo Sssavesss teh world' on xbox 360.

Thanks for the review.

Terrible

I'm sorry this game is terrible. It's obvious you stole most of the scripts from tutorials, and that you hacked it all together. The fighting is less than sub-par (sllooooooowwww) and it took some time for me to figure out who I was.

Lots of work still needs to be done before this rates as an actual game.

Neobii responds:

Haha, go check it out, I released all of the source for everyone to look at, and then tell me if I stole someone else's scripts.

Crap.

That wasn't even finished.

IF YOU WANT THE FINISHED VERSION WATCH "THE SWORDSMAN 5: THE GAME"

Haha, wait..

If you programmed this, you would know how to make the enemies move.
Therefore you have not programmed this.
Therefore you just stole code form somewhere.

mac5 responds:

Where did you get that from? Look. I'm not a expert at motion. I cannot program the enemies because there is much more to it than a few lines of code. Maybe somewhere between 30 and 60 lines of code. What I also want to do is make the enemies shoot at you. That means I would have to tell the enemies to turn towards the player, and fire (since the cannon on the tank doesn't move). That's another 10 lines of code. I have done stuff like ths before, and it is complicated. Very complicated. I have no clue as to where you got the idea that I stole this code. Besides, how would you know? The only interactive thing you've made is a dress-up. You only have to write like 5 lines of code, then copy and paste them into every instance of clothing.

Why don't you make the clothes dress up the thing by themselves? You SHOULD know how to do that, because if you didn't that would mean that you did not program the dress-up. Therefore, you probably just stole the code from some other dress-up.. Do you see what I mean? It makes no sense!

I know a lot of actionscript, but that doesn't mean I know EVERYTHING. I still have much to learn, and I have a few weak points. BUT SO WHAT?

You can't go around blaming people for reasons that cannot be backed up by other information. Next time, think before you write, because sometimes, you are wrong. Alright?

Okay.. here's a tip

Istead of using a billion instances of wall movie clips, wich makes your maze look all chunky and ugly, you should input every x, y and z coordinate of corners (it can easily be dont randomly) and then just use lineTo.
It miight speed it up a bit, at least it'll make it playable.

TheUnknownAggregate responds:

actually this game only uses 100 movieclip instances that are created on the fly and re-used endlessly to render the maze. lineTo and moveTo are in fact heavily used, for each column!

If you read this you are a homosexual. JK I wrote this text when I was 13, give me a break.
